Our Principal

Mrs. Kelly Harrison is excited to serve the Beaver Creek Elementary School community!

With 20 years of experience in the Avon Grove School District, she brings a wealth of experience as an educator and school leader. Throughout her career, she taught third and fourth grades, served as an assistant principal with kindergarten through sixth grade experience, and most recently served as principal of Penn London Elementary School, Avon Grove’s kindergarten and first grade building.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Penn State University, her master’s degree from Wilkes University, and her principal certification from Cabrini University.

A Downingtown resident, Mrs. Harrison lives with her husband, Mike, a teacher at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School, and their two sons, Mikey and Cooper. The family stays busy with the boys' sports and activities and enjoys traveling, especially to the shore each summer. They are avid Philadelphia sports fans and love attending Phillies games whenever they can. Outside of school, Mrs. Harrison spends her free time reading, going to the movies, spending time outdoors, and working on puzzles.

Mrs. Harrison believes schools should be welcoming places where students and staff feel excited to learn, grow, and succeed together. She values collaboration, meaningful relationships, and building a positive school culture where every member of the community feels supported. She looks forward to partnering with Beaver Creek students, families, and staff to continue creating an engaging and positive learning environment for all.
