On October 20, 2023, Beaver Creek celebrated Family Heritage Day. For this annual event, each grade level sets aside time during the school day and invites any family member to come into the classroom. Family share stories about their heritage and may bring items to help the students learn. Many families visited Beaver Creek throughout the day and the students enjoyed this opportunity to learn about so many different cultures that celebrates our diverse community here at DASD. Thanks to all of the families that participated. It was a fun and informative event.
